Our partners are the only 100% locally owned dive centre with an all-Maldivian team of certified Instructors and dive Masters. The owner was born and raised in Fuvahmulah, and his operation supports extensive conservation efforts including shark research and plastic recycling. By diving with us you support the local economy and community.

Based on our collective diving experiences and principles, we maintain a 1:4 guide to diver ratio. This low ratio helps ensure a safer, and more boutique diving experience. The entire dive team has been trained by the best shark diving safety divers in the world: Ocean Ramsey & Juan Sharks. Being the experts on shark diving, we developed the PADI Speciality Course in Tiger Shark Safety Diving, only offered at the center in Fuvahmulah.

With amazing marine life and colourful coral reefs, Maldives is a renowned scuba diving destination. Fuvahmulah has some of the best dive sites in the entire Maldives

The distinctive geography of Fuvahmulah as a solitary island and distant from other land mass brings nutrient rich ocean currents. This phenomenon creates an ideal environment for a cleaning station and nursery for a diverse range of pelagic fish

The island is also fast gaining popularity as the place for the best Maldives shark diving. Fuvahmulah is believed to have the healthiest population of tiger sharks because of the island’s unique topography. To date, the island has over 200 individuals identified. As a result of this, tiger shark diving in Maldives is guaranteed at Tiger Harbour, the famous Fuvahmulah dive site

Seven rare sharks are found in Fuvahmulah diving sites, including the elusive thresher sharks. Divers have one of the best opportunities in the world to encounter thresher sharks when shark diving in Fuvahmulah. These thresher sharks are usually in deeper waters but are drawn to the cleaning stations in the shallow waters. By the same token, thresher sharks are sighted through the year like the tiger sharks

In the right conditions, divers can watch in awe as schools of scalloped hammerhead sharks cruise the currents. These oddly shaped head sharks usually start to make an appearance in October and can sometimes last till April. The gentle giants of the ocean, the majestic whale sharks are also known to visit Fuvahmulah between January to May. The silver tip, grey reef and white tip sharks are some the other shark species that complete this rich ecosystem.

Our most popular package is the 7 night scuba diving package at only €2100.00pp

We prioritize to book our divers at Ataraxis Grand & Spa (The owners co-own the hotel), one of the best places to stay in Fuvahmulah.

The rooms and facilities offered are comparable to some of the best dive resorts in Maldives. All rooms at Ataraxis Grand & Spa feature either a double bed or 2 single beds with en suite bathroom.

The rooms at the Ataraxis jave a mini bar, black out curtains and satellite tv. Rooms also have air-conditioning, safe deposit box, hair dyer and other in-room amenities.

Our Maldives dive package includes accommodation and  different levels of meal plans.

The most popular arrangement is accommodation on full board, which is 3 meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The other two options are half board, which is breakfast and dinner; or bed & breakfast. Meals are all arranged at the hotel’s in-house restaurant.

Should divers have dietary restrictions, the team at Ataraxis will be able to accommodate. If divers have dietary restrictions, we are able to notify the team at Ataraxis in advance.

The Ataraxis also provides facilities such as a gym, spa and sauna
