Our diving concept in Marsa Nakari is designed for maximum diving enjoyment. Divers can choose between the 6 different diving profiles on the house reef from early morning until evening, or to join excursions to nearby dive sites. We offer two packages to enable you to maximise your diving enjoyment.

Our house reef diving concept gives you the ultimate flexibility and independence with your buddy on our house reef. All divers are given a guided orientation dive on the house reef on arrival, and then you are free to dive unguided, within your certification limits, for the rest of your stay. The only time you will be fixed to a schedule is if you sign up to an excursion outside the house reef, bookable on site one day in advance. With over 20 dive sites easily accessible from Marsa Nakari there is something for everyone to enjoy. Excursions are mostly offered by comfortable speedboat (zodiac/RIB) and also by minibus and daily boat.

End your day with a traditional Gabana or Beer at our Bawadi Bedouin Cafe, surrounded by friends, new and old.

House Reef Diving Package: 5 days unlimited diving in the house reef including 2 orientation dives on the first day.

4. The first orientation dive is mandatory, the second is optional but is only offered on the first day
5. Also available to buy house reef diving ‘per day’ (for less than 5 days diving)
6. Additional days on top of the 5 day package are available at a discounted price

Optional on site: We offer excursions by minibus and by speedboat to other dive sites. These dives are optional and can be booked and paid for on site, as a supplement on top of the house reef diving package.

Excursion Package (NEW!): 5 days unlimited diving in the house reef including 2 orientation dives on the first day plus 6 inner range excursions.

• Outer range excursions are subject to additional supplement, payable on site
• Additional days on top of the 5 day package are available at a discounted price but do not include any excursions during the additional days

Divers, snorkelers and free divers enjoy unlimited use of our house reef which is accessible from the beach by a wide, convenient entry point, with the coral reef starting directly from the shoreline and stretching both North and South from the entry point, offering 6 different diving or snorkelling profiles.

The North reef is popular for its hard corals, fish life and anemone city, while divers love to explore the pinnacles and swim-throughs on the South Reef. The marine life at Marsa Nakari is particularly diverse and macro lovers enjoy the nudibranchs, shrimps, velvetfish, ghost pipefish, seamoths and other inhabitants there.

Turtles and dolphins are not uncommon and a school of the open-mouthed Indian Mackarel patrol the inside of the bay constantly. Marsa Nakari is the first PADI IDC Resort in the region, with our own PADI Course Director on-site offering recreational and professional courses all year round.

The quality of the coral reefs which are accessible by boat and car from Marsa Nakari often catches divers and snorkelers by surprise.

Despite their close proximity to the shore, the quality and diversity of the fish and coral life is astounding, and the variety of landscapes offers something for everyone from pinnacles, swim-throughs and canyons, to drop-offs, hard and soft coral gardens and sea grass beds.

It is also possible to dive the wreck of the Hamada at Abu Ghusoun.

A range of accommodation options are available, from our traditional royal tents which let you experience Marsa Nakari as it used to be, through to our Deluxe Chalets with en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.

Three meals per day are served in our buffet restaurant and all soft drinks are included as part of the all inclusive package. Soft drinks include (Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, tea and Nescafe are also included.
