Almost anyone! If you’re reasonably fit and at least 10 years old, you can become a certified diver. It’s one of the most inclusive outdoor activities, with courses designed for all levels – no previous experience required.

It’s normal to feel nervous at first – most divers do! That’s why beginner courses are taught in small steps, with plenty of time to repeat skills and build confidence.

Kick off your adventure with an Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular beginner scuba certification. Over about 5 days, you’ll learn everything you need to dive safely and confidently to depths of 18 metres (60 feet), alongside a certified buddy.
