Gozo: Blue Hole & Inland Sea
Malta Mainland: Um El Faroud Wreck
Blue Hole
A vertical shaft dropping into crystal-clear blue, framed by an archway and full of light play.
Inland Sea
A shallow entry through a 60m tunnel with schools of bream, barracuda, and colourful sponges.
Jeremy says: “The Blue Hole might be Malta’s most photographed dive and for good reason. Drop in early in the day for the best light.”
Karwela & Cominoland Wrecks
Two scuttled passenger ferries now covered in life – great for relaxed wreck diving.
Filomena’s tip: “The Karwela staircase is iconic, don’t forget to frame a shot looking up through it.”
P31 Patrol Boat
An accessible, photogenic wreck in shallow water, great for all levels.
Santa Maria Caves
A network of swim-throughs and rock tunnels that are safe and atmospheric.
Lantern Point
A vertical chimney descent – great for adventure dives and spotting nudibranchs.
Filomena adds: “Santa Maria Caves are one of my happy places… relaxed, playful, and surprisingly light-filled.”
Um El Faroud
A huge oil tanker (115m) with accessible swim-throughs and plenty of fish life.
Cirkewwa Marine Park
Combines reef, wreck, and wall diving – often with octopus, groupers, and barracuda.
Jeremy’s tip: “Faroud’s size can surprise you. Plan your route or you’ll lose track of time at depth. It’s a classic for a reason.”
HMS Olympus (42m)
WWII British submarine with intact conning tower.
HMS Southwold, Nasturtium, Russell, Kujawiak (L72)
Each with fascinating wartime history and excellent preservation at depth.
Jeremy says: “Olympus is one of the most moving dives I’ve done – almost untouched and loaded with history.”
Sea to Sky supports full tec setups, gas blends, CCR support and guided deep dives through our local partners.

“The trip was organised by Jeremy at Sea to Sky. His attention to detail through the booking process, right through to his first hand knowledge of the dive sites was superb. It led to the holiday being truly relaxed, and wanting a teenager to come back with her friends for a diving course.”
“I had already 2 trips with Sea to Sky and I can warmly recommend this company! Friendly people best organisation and professional diving trips. With Sea to Sky you are in very good hands and your holidays are worth booking.”
“I’d been looking for a trip that blended site seeing, diving, great locale and authentic restaurants and can not recommend this company enough. Travelling as a single person in a new country can daunting, but Sea to Sky made my travels easier than I could have expected”
