All-Inclusive Indonesia Liveaboards, Curated by Divers

All-Inclusive Indonesia Liveaboards, Curated by Divers

Indonesia sits at the heart of the Coral Triangle, home to the richest marine biodiversity on Earth. With more than 17,000 islands stretching across two oceans, it is a diver’s paradise of colourful reefs, manta cleaning stations, volcanic seamounts, and rare critters you will not find anywhere else.

The best way to explore it is by liveaboard. From manta rays drifting through Komodo’s channels to hammerhead schools in the Banda Sea, every itinerary offers extraordinary encounters. With Sea to Sky, we arrange everything for you, including flights, transfers, boat, diving, and insider advice, so you can simply dive in.

At Sea to Sky we are divers first. We have explored Indonesia’s reefs ourselves and know how overwhelming it can feel to choose between Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda or Alor. That is why we work with trusted partners and craft packages that make the choice easy.

  • Curated itineraries in Raja Ampat, Komodo, Banda and the Forgotten Islands
  • Handpicked liveaboards focused on safety, comfort and local knowledge
  • Support from Jeremy and Filomena to match you to the right trip
  • Seamless planning from flights to fins

Filomena adds: “Indonesia feels like the ocean at its most alive. One day you are drifting with mantas, the next you are spotting pygmy seahorses the size of a fingernail.”

Life Onboard a Liveaboard

Life on an Indonesian liveaboard mixes exploration and comfort.

  • Diving: 3 to 4 dives per day including reefs, drifts, muck and night dives
  • Comfort: Traditional phinisi charm with modern cabins, sun decks, and fresh Indonesian meals
  • Between dives: Watch volcanic islands pass by, sip coffee on deck, or visit remote villages

Safety First
Most liveaboards require:

  • A dive computer for every diver
  • A surface marker buoy (SMB) on all dives
  • A reef hook for drift dives in Komodo and Raja Ampat
  • Dive insurance (e.g. DAN or equivalent)

Jeremy adds: “Currents are part of the magic here, but they need respect. With the right kit and guidance, the dives feel exciting and safe.”

Our Trusted Liveaboard Partners

Our Trusted Liveaboard Partners

Not every liveaboard in Indonesia is the same, and not every package is available direct. At Sea to Sky, we have built trusted relationships with a small number of vessels that we know deliver on safety, comfort, and atmosphere.

By booking through us you are not just choosing from a list of boats, you are gaining insider access to carefully curated trips that we have hand-picked from our own diving experience. These are journeys shaped for divers who want more than a booking – they want the reassurance of expert planning and the excitement of travel that feels personal and unique.

Filomena says: “We choose these boats because we would happily sail on them ourselves. The difference is in the details, from calm briefings to ginger tea after a night dive.”

  • Coralia Liveaboard – eco-friendly luxury phinisi built for divers, sailing Raja Ampat, Komodo and beyond

  • Emperor Divers Indonesia – global expertise, high safety standards, and professional crews across Indonesia’s top regions

  • Ilike Liveaboard – boutique-style phinisi blending Indonesian craftsmanship with modern dive facilities and unique itineraries into remote areas

  • Scuba Junkie – beautiful Phinisi style vessel Eliya has been designed with the need of the diver in mind. She was built by the master ship-builders of Sulawesi and underwent her finishing touches right along the coast of Flores.

Eco Commitment
Our partners follow eco-conscious practices such as reef-safe operations and supporting local communities. In Raja Ampat, Coralia works directly with conservation groups, while all vessels follow Green Fins guidelines and promote respectful wildlife encounters.
