All-Inclusive Komodo Dive Trips, Tailored by Divers
All-Inclusive Komodo Dive Trips, Tailored by Divers
Where the Indian and Pacific Oceans meet, Komodo National Park delivers some of the most dynamic diving on the planet. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this remote corner of Indonesia is known for dramatic underwater topography, dense marine life and powerful currents that fuel extraordinary biodiversity.
While Komodo is famous for its dragons on land, it is the underwater world that truly defines the experience. Expect fish-filled pinnacles, fast-paced drift dives and manta cleaning stations that regularly host multiple rays at once. Sea to Sky dive holidays in Komodo are designed to give you maximum time in the park, with carefully planned itineraries that prioritise quality dives and low-impact exploration.

Batu Bolong
Often described as the best dive in Komodo, Batu Bolong is a small pinnacle rising from deep water. Strong currents bring an incredible concentration of marine life. Expect dense clouds of anthias, reef sharks, giant trevally, turtles and an overwhelming sense of movement and colour. This is classic Komodo at its most intense.
Jeremy adds: “This is a site where positioning matters. Done at the right moment, Batu Bolong is one of the most intense reef dives anywhere.”
Castle Rock
Castle Rock is a submerged seamount in the north of the park and a favourite for divers who enjoy pelagic action. As current hits the rock, divers hook in and watch grey reef sharks, giant trevally, barracuda and large schools of fish pass by. Visibility here is often excellent.
Filomena adds: “Castle Rock can feel wild and exhilarating. It is a dive where staying calm and settled lets you enjoy everything happening around you.”
Manta Point (Karang Makassar)
Manta Point is a long, shallow drift and the park’s main manta ray cleaning area. Divers move slowly over rubble and coral while mantas hover above cleaning stations or feed in the current. Encounters with multiple mantas on a single dive are common.
Jeremy adds:
“This is about patience. Stay low, relax and let the mantas come to you. The best encounters happen when you slow everything down.”
The Cauldron (Shotgun)
The Cauldron is one of Komodo’s most exciting drift dives. Water funnels through a narrow channel before releasing divers into a wide bowl filled with sharks, rays and schooling fish. The final section, known as the Shotgun, delivers a fast-moving ride through open water.
Filomena adds:
“It is pure Komodo. Fast, dramatic and unforgettable, but always dived with care and good briefing.”

Beyond the Diving
Beyond the Diving
Time on land adds another layer to the Komodo experience.
- Komodo Dragons: Ranger-led walks on Rinca or Komodo Island offer the chance to see these animals in their natural habitat.
- Padar Island: A hike to the summit delivers one of Indonesia’s most iconic views across multiple bays.
- Pink Beach: A rare shoreline coloured by crushed red coral, ideal for relaxing between dives.
